How to Participate

Qualifications and Conditions of Participation

Anyone can participate in this walk as long as they are fit and healthy.
However, toddlers are to be escorted by a parent or guardian and participants requiring help are to be accompanied by a helper.

Participation Fee

Registration Fee € 50 (including participating fee, Welcome reception fee, welcome party fee)

Application Period January 12(Tue), to April 20(Tue) 2010
Deadline of the Advance Registration 20 (Tue) April by 5:00 pm

Application Form

Since the event ended, you're not be able to download the application. We look forward to your participation for the next time.

Scope of Responsibility

Participants should undergo a medical check-up in advance and ensure that they are in good health before joining the event. The host shall not be liable for any accident or injury to any participant beyond the coverage of our accident insurance and on-site first-aid treatment.

Furthermore, in the case of unintentional/unforeseen accidents such as a natural disaster, inclement weather or an outbreak of the H1N1 virus ("swine flu"), we may be forced to cancel the event.

In the event that the Three-Day Walk is cancelled, Event materials shall be sent to participants. Please note that participants will not be reimbursed for entry fees and walk records will not be recognized.

Award Ceremony and Raffle

Participants who complete a walk will receive a special certificate. Also, there is an entry number to a speed raffle on the certificate.
Perticipants who complete all three days of the meet will receive a commemorative Kappa badge (A upgrade badge made specially for this meet).

  1. The starting ceremony of each course is held 20 minutes before the departure time
  2. After registration, please check the start time on your card before you start. Nobody can start after the anchor man of the route, and please put on your walking number which indicates the name of the course and distance.
  3. The finish time of every route is by 4:00 pm. If you can’t reach the goal, please follow the instruction of the staff.
  4. Attention! The content of the courses, the start time, and the goal time might be changed.

How to Get to the Venue


For participants arriving at Kumamoto Ariport, we recommend boarding the “Super Banpeiyu” shuttle bus directly to Yatsushiro.
